Keep on scrolling!

The shift from reading my Bible as a book to reading it on the computer screen seems like something new. But when Jesus went to the Temple to read the Scriptures, he picked up a scroll - a long piece of parchment that could be 'scrolled' up and down like a web page or PDF file.

Jesus was able to read. He grew up as a Jewish boy. He was able to write as well (ofcourse!). But -as far as I know- we only read in Scriptures that he wrote (or drawed?) something in the sand. And we don't even know WHAT he was writing or drawing. Any suggestions? I've heard a good one... and I will let you know if I receive a comment!

Think about this: He speaks and it exists. What does that say about Jesus?

Jesus resumed talking to the people, but now tenderly. "The Father has given me all these things to do and say. This is a unique Father-Son operation, coming out of Father and Son intimacies and knowledge. No one knows the Son the way the Father does, nor the Father the way the Son does. But I'm not keeping it to myself; I'm ready to go over it line by line with anyone willing to listen." Matthew 11;27 The Message
