Pope John Paul II

My thoughts and prayers are with all people who loved and respected Pope John Paul II as the leader of the Roman Catholic Church.

As an Evangelical Christian I only recognize Jesus Christ as the Head of the world wide Church, but I do think that this Pope was a good example for all believers. I will never forget that he went to a prison cell to visit the man who shot him in 1981 - and he offered him forgiveness. That was a true act of grace!

I can't help wondering what Karol Jozef Wojtyla and Peter the disciple of Jesus will say to each other in heaven...
